Contract: Independent Contractor
Schedule:
Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM with 1 hour unpaid lunch break (8 hours per day/40 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct outbound calls (e.g., MBIT VoIP) and emails to generate leads and build connections.
Research databases to identify potential clients and partnership opportunities.
Promote team-building events and develop strategies to attract new participants.
Manage and update Salesforce records and other relevant systems.
Provide the messaging framework, tone, and target audience
Provide insights into brand messaging and market trends and design broad campaigns
Assist with grant writing and proposals as needed.
Prepare outreach materials and reports as needed.
Develop applicable agreements as needed.
Provide administrative support for ongoing projects and initiatives.
Collaborate with the team to develop marketing materials and presentations.
Contribute to developing new outreach strategies and processes
Requirements
Experience in sales, outreach, marketing or customer service roles.
Proven track record of sales achievement of target goals/quotas.
Strong and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strategic ability to research, identify leads, and build relationships.
Organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in outbound calling and emailing.
Experience with grant writing is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with MBIT VoIP or similar databases.
Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
Experience in organising or promoting events and exposure to non-profit or community focused organisations are preferred but not required.
Familiarity/exposure with Australian culture and events.
Disciplined, accountable, reliable, and able to meet deadlines in a flexible work environment.
Ability to work independently, but also as part of a collaborative team.
