Position Summary - Vice President of Business Development

The VP, Business Development for Ansira is a senior-level leader who has significant experience in the development and management of complex sales, and an understanding of the distributed sales ecosystem in automotive. This leader will have a history of exceeding sales quotas and developing and delivering growth for business units. This high-profile role will apply their relationship skills and marketing acumen in helping the company achieve growth goals and acquire prestigious new brands to add to the world-class client roster of PureCars’.

The VP, Business Development must have marketing and technology expertise and excellent communication skills that allow for cultivating confidence and trust with prospects and clients, as well as PureCars’ internal business partners. As Vice President of Business Development, you will serve as a strategic and operational leader responsible for driving PureCars’ revenue growth, expansion strategies, and long-term value creation across new and existing product lines. You will lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that span sales, marketing, client success, product development, and finance.

Your primary objective is to define and execute growth strategies that generate sustainable revenue, enhance client retention, and position PureCars as the market leader in automotive marketing technology. This role is primarily focused on  the development, management, and continuous improvement of OEM programs and relationships across all three tiers, as well as cultivating and expanding strategic partnerships across the automotive ecosystem.

This executive role requires a strong blend of strategic vision, data fluency, operational excellence, and industry expertise. You'll serve as a key member of the leadership team, reporting directly to the C-suite and regularly presenting performance metrics, market insights, and growth recommendations to senior stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Revenue Growth & Retention

  • Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for high-priorityOEM programs, partnerships and initiatives.
  • Lead revenue-generating programs across the customer lifecycle — including acquisition, upsell, cross-sell, and retention.
  • Conduct in-depth market and competitive analyses to identify growth opportunities and assess risks.
  • Build and scale strategic partnership pipelines with OEMs, technology providers, and other industry players to accelerate growth.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs across pipelines, retention funnels, OEM program performance, and revenue targets.
  • Drive consistent and scalable sales strategies including enablement tools, talk tracks, and training programs.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Align cross-departmental teams on unified growth objectives and timelines.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives with Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure seamless execution of business development strategies.
  • Partner with OEM stakeholders and internal teams to develop, review, and optimize co-branded programs and campaigns.
  • Serve as an executive escalation point for strategic accounts and partnerships, ensuring exceptional customer experience and high-impact client relationships.

Product Strategy & Feedback Loop

  • Champion market-informed product ideation by translating customer, OEM, and partner feedback into feature requests and roadmaps.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to assess the revenue impact of new features and enhancements.
  • Develop cost-benefit frameworks to guide investment in product innovation.
  • Provide OEM partners with feedback and insights that shape mutual roadmaps and deliver measurable value.

Executive Communication & Reporting

  • Provide regular reporting and strategic recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Represent PureCars at key industry events, strategic partner meetings, and client forums as a thought leader and company ambassador.
  • Foster and maintain senior-level relationships with OEM and channel partners to drive alignment and long-term success.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in business development, product marketing, or revenue leadership within a SaaS, digital marketing, or ad-tech environment; automotive industry experience and OEM relationship management strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of scaling revenue through product-market alignment, sales enablement, OEM program execution, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience developing and optimizing OEM programs and co-branded campaigns, including performance review and compliance processes.
  • Deep expertise in digital marketing channels including search, social, programmatic, and email.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in ROI modeling, retention analysis, and pipeline forecasting.
  • Executive presence with exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through change and ambiguity in a fast-paced, growth-driven organization.
  • Expertise in tools such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Salesforce, and advanced Excel/BI tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced business training is a plus.
