We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our ambitious team. You’ll act as the primary point of contact for your customers post-implementation, consistently delivering on their expectations and ensuring they’re getting the most value out of their Buildout package. As a quota-carrying AM, you’ll focus on renewing your book of business and driving expansion opportunities. At times, you’ll triage customer issues and escalations, supporting customers to get the best use of our tools. You should be driven to make your customers successful and connect the dots between your customers’ goals and leveraging our suite of products.
Foster strong customer relationships and generate revenue for your book of business, earning their business year after year by securing renewals and expanding their accounts through cross-sell and upsell opportunities
Own the full sales cycle from identifying expansion opportunities to building the relationships with key stakeholders to negotiation and contracting
Develop robust success plans for each account, run playbooks, identify useful features and products, and offer training to improve adoption
Regularly monitor and analyze customer health and interactions, identifying churn triggers and opportunities for training and upsell
Be the voice of your customer when collaborating with other departments like Support, Implementation, Finance, and Product, to resolve issues or relay customer feedback.
Partner with Customer Success Operations to create strategic playbooks in Planhat (email and call campaigns, in-app experience) and develop and execute webinars for existing customers to support product adoption
Collaborate with your team on process improvement, leading the team in testing out new ideas when something isn’t working
Take the work, but not yourself, too seriously
3+ years of B2B SaaS sales account management experience with a focus on upsells, cross-sells, and expansion opportunities
Experience nurturing customer relationships and managing their renewals
A track record of meeting and exceeding high-volume metrics and sales goals
Experience with Salesforce (required) and customer success software like Planhat (nice to have)
A juggling pro who can comfortably jump between inbound customer requests, to demos, to strategic renewal conversations, as well as adjust and match tone based on the customer call
A knack for creating and improving processes and embracing change for the better
A customer-first mindset and passionate about providing an exemplary customer experience

We are based in Chicago, but this is a fully-remote role open across most of the US. Candidates must be able to work within one hour of the CST time zone. The compensation for this position is a base salary between $70,000 - $84,000 with OTE between $100,000 - $120,000.
