Job description

Across the United States, 6 in 10 adults – or 133 million Americans, live with one or more chronic conditions. Chronic disease is today’s leading cause of death and disability in the US and the leading driver of the nation’s $4.1 trillion in annual healthcare costs. Patients who live with chronic conditions require far more touch points than our primary care physicians have time to deliver and the result is countless health emergencies and costly ER visits that could be prevented. Workforce shortages and lack of technologies make it difficult to give patients the attention they need.

At Cadence, our mission is to deliver life-changing care to over one million patients living with chronic disease by the end of the decade. We mitigate the impact of chronic disease by using technology and a world-class clinical team to remotely monitor, manage, and support patients at home. Together with our growing network of health system partners, we deliver guideline-directed care to tens of thousands of patients today while producing best-in-class clinical outcomes.

The Cadence Health team seeks an Operations Associate to join our Growth Operations team. This person will provide essential support for Cadence’s day-to-day operations including program implementation, process improvement, project management, root cause analysis, gap analysis, and cross-functional team collaboration. You will become an expert in key processes that drive success of our product including revenue cycle operations, growth operations, and care delivery.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Support New Implementation Activities:

    1. Assist in planning and executing program implementations, ensuring operational readiness in alignment with healthcare industry requirements.
    2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate a seamless implementation process, adhering to regulatory guidelines and best practices.
    3. Provide post-implementation support and collaborate with teams from various departments to contribute to ongoing optimization efforts within the healthcare startup environment.

Process Mapping and Improvement:

    1. Lead process mapping and improvement initiatives.
    2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document current processes and identify areas for enhancement.
    3. Propose and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency, quality, and compliance within the healthcare startup setting.
    4. Implement process measures to monitor and improve them.

Support Data Modeling and Forecasting:

    1. Assist in data modeling activities to analyze historical data and predict future trends in our business.
    2. Collaborate with data teams and cross-functional teams to develop forecasting models that inform strategic decision-making.
    3. Support efforts to leverage data-driven insights to drive business growth and operational excellence.

Conduct Root Cause Analysis:

    1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in investigations to understand the root cause of identified issues, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
    2. Document findings and work with team members from different departments to implement effective solutions.
    3. Support efforts to address root causes and drive continuous improvement within the healthcare operations domain.
