Community & Marketing Manager

Full time - Independent Contractor

Salary Range: 1500 - 1800 AUD/ month

Who The Client Is: is a group of companies that are seeking a dynamic and strategic Communications and Marketing Manager to lead and execute our brand, marketing and communications initiatives. This role is responsible for shaping and delivering our messaging across all platforms, driving audience engagement and ensuring consistent, high-quality communication with stakeholders, customers and the broader Australian community.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans aligned with business goals.
  • Manage digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, Google Ads, email marketing, and social media.
  • Oversee content creation for websites, newsletters, blogs, and electronic billboard ads.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to execute promotional strategies.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance metrics and ROI.

Brand & Communication

  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels and marketing materials.
  • Manage internal and external communications.
  • Uphold brand, visual, and editorial standards.

Public Relations & Media

  • Plan, organize, and promote public-facing events and company announcements.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Partner with leadership to align marketing initiatives with strategic business objectives.

Collaborate closely with sales, product development, and client services teams to support business development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
  • Proven track record in developing and executing effective marketing and communication strategies
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing platforms and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Meta Ads, Facebook, Instagram)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Creative thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in both B2C and B2B marketing, particularly in professional services
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
