Job description

You’ve sold into the mission before—and won. You have a proven track record selling advanced sensing technologies (e.g. Counter-UAS (CUAS), Radio Frequency (RF) spectrum sensing or other similar modalities for Critical Infrastructure Protection) to local, state and commercial customers.  You can obtain a TS clearance, know how to navigate complex buying environments, and can speak the language of operators, program managers, and procurement.You’re a true hunter who opens doors, creates urgency, and sells on value—not price. You’re independent but know how to leverage a cross-functional team to win. You’re coachable, embrace feedback, and take ownership of being on the front lines of a fast-growing company.You’re comfortable being wherever the mission takes you—traveling up to 75% when needed. And you’re here to make an impact—and earn at least $250K doing it.

Overview:

Hidden Level is transforming airspace safety with innovative, scalable drone detection and airspace technology. We provide real-time, actionable data to enhance security across various environments. As we expand, we're looking for a Director of Business Development – Enterprise to lead our efforts in selling to our enterprise customer base.  Candidates must have a proven track record of success in defense and national security account sales.  

Responsibilities:

Discover and Secure New Business:

  • Craft strategic plans to win new business within our enterprise channel.  
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key enterprise account personnel.
  • Analyze competitive landscape and client needs to guide capture strategies and revenue forecasts.
  • Maintain ongoing engagement with current and potential clients, develop growth strategies, and track buying cycles.
  • Meet assigned sales targets.

 

Enhance Existing Business:

  • Partner with the Operations team to grow business with current clients.
  • Leverage existing relationships to identify and develop new opportunities.
  • Seek out relationships horizontally and vertical which lead to new buying centers within secured accounts.

Articulate Our Value:

  • Represent Hidden Level solutions to clients, partners, and the public.
  • Communicate our technological strengths and innovative approach to next-generation solutions.

Drive Product Development:

  • Serve as a bridge between clients and the engineering team.
  • Provide clear, prioritized client feedback to guide product development and ensure high-quality solutions.
  • Engage continuously with clients to gather input for ongoing product enhancements.

  • Proven Enterprise:
    1. Security  clearance – Ability to gain Top Secret clearance.
    2. Demonstrated success in selling technology to enterprise customers for more than 10 years.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance – TS
  • Ability to travel to 75% when needed.
  • Experience with complex systems involving hardware and software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills from military service (retired military personnel are highly encouraged to apply).
  • Experience with government business development and contract structures.
  • Experience building and maintaining an opportunity pipeline in Salesforce.
  • Experience managing complex technical projects in government.
  • Comfortable working in resource-limited environments and achieving goals in complex settings.
  • STEM degree preferred.
  • Prior military or contracting experience beneficial.

 

Compensation and Benefits: Hidden Level offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid parental leave, flexible time off, 401(k) with employer contributions, life insurance, and disability insurance. The company also provides a remote or hybrid work environment and potential stock options.

Salary Range: The anticipated On-Target Earning goals for this position estimated at $350,000-$380,000 annually. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Hidden Level considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
