Description

Primary responsibilities include leading the company’s efforts to grow volume and profit in the Target. Responsible for achieving sales goals and strategic objectives within his/her customer. Effectively manage the relationship with Target, lead negotiations and influence alignment with Barcel account strategic plan. Work collaborative with other key positions in the company to influence and orientate distributor partners that provide service to the customer. Analyzes business environment to secure and influence the execution of national strategic plans.

What Will I Be Doing

  • Lead sales strategy for Barcel USA’s total portfolio, to include DSD and warehouse business.
  • Lead the creation, presentation, and execution of brand promotional plans to achieve key business goals.
  • Own and manage sales plan to ensure line of sight sales goals and potential gap opportunities.
  • Owner of trade calendar & budgets, maximizing revenue while adhering to Barcel USA’s trade budget & guardrail requirements.
  • Oversee distribution execution, new item introductions, schematic implementations, and promotional activities.
  • Target Corporate customer facing responsibility for all applicable commodities.
  • Manage trade spend and accrual funds, ensuring optimal use to maximize profitability.
  • Work with omni team to align and define strategies and program to drive and achieve e-comm internal and external KPIs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure strategic alignment and seamless execution of business initiatives.
  • Work closely with planning support, product & pricing maintenance analyst and field support to ensure seamless in store execution.
  • Responsible for communication to internal sales/field teams and distributor teams
  • Compliance with Barcel USA policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

  • Education Business: Administration, Marketing Bachelors
  • Minimum 5-7 years of strategic sales experience: preferably with a consumer-packaged goods organization
  • Experience calling on Target (preferred)
  • Experience working with 3rd party, Direct Sales Distribution (DSD), and CDC Warehouse GTM (preferred)
  • Proficient in IRI, Retail Link, Nielsen data
  • Knowledgeable of Warehouse replenishment programs and supply chain requirements.
  • Frequently participated in successful strategic joint business planning sessions with major regional & national CPG retail accounts.
  • Able to influence external and internal customer and work effectively in cross-functional environment.
  • Proven track record of effective trade expense management
  • Demonstrated skillful negotiation capability with Buyers and Senior Buyers in the Grocery Retail CPG industry
  • Ability to create effective and dynamic presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Travel: Domestic 25%
