Job Requirements:

  • Min 2.5 years of practical experience in similar roles/job functions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and medical staff through virtual platforms and over the phone.
  • Experience in healthcare setting is highly preferred High level of accuracy in maintaining patient records, processing billing information, and managing appointment schedules to ensure seamless operations and compliance with healthcare regulations. 
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service, exhibiting empathy, patience, and professionalism in all interactions with patients and their families. 
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to efficiently handle multiple responsibilities, including managing appointments, updating records, and responding to inquiries in a fast-paced virtual environment.

Core responsibilities:

  • Schedule and manage patient appointments using digital scheduling systems, coordinating with medical staff to optimize workflow and minimize waiting times, while sending appointment reminders via email or text.
  • Handle incoming calls and online inquiries, provide detailed information about services and procedures, and route messages or connect patients to the appropriate medical professionals using secure communication tools. 
  • Maintain and update electronic patient records in the practice management system, ensuring the accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Process billing, assisting patients with payment options, and addressing any payment or insurance-related queries through secure and user-friendly virtual channels.
