We are seeking a highly skilled Cisco Technical Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Cisco Webex Dedicated Instance (DI), Cisco CUCM, CUC, and Webex Control Hub. This role requires the ability to manage projects from start to finish independently.
Position Title: Technical Support - Cisco Webex Dedicated Instance (DI)
Location: Remote Canada
Employment Type: Contract
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end project engagements, including installations, configurations, and migrations.
Experience with phone device configuration in CUCM.
Understanding of provisioning and registering phones using activation codes.
Familiarity with soft client applications.
Ability to read and understand basic CUCM exports in .csv format.
Troubleshooting skills for CUCM, CUC, and Webex Control Hub.
Experience with UC configuration.
SCCP/MGCP analog gateway configuration.
SIP SRST router configuration.
Proficiency in using debug and troubleshooting commands.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role with a focus on Cisco Webex environment.
Demonstrated success in migrating from legacy telephony platforms
Proven experience in technical support roles focusing on Cisco technologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients.
