Accounting Professionals

The A Team Consulting is seeking experienced Accounting Professionals to join our team. As one of our professional accounting team, you will be responsible for various accounting and financial tasks, including general ledger maintenance, providing accurate financial records, preparing and analyzing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. This is a remote environment and work hours are based on Eastern Standard Time.

Opportunities include Bookkeepers (entry-level), Staff Accountants and Senior Staff Accountants, and Controllers (CST/EST preferred)

Range of Responsibilities

• Manage the general ledger and all financial transaction
• Maintain accurate and complete financial records
• Working knowledge of cash and accrual accounting
• Prepare financial statements and various financial reports
• Analyze data to identify opportunities for efficiencies, cost reduction, and revenue growth
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Perform payroll and accounts payable/receivable functions
• Support internal and external audits
• Establish different accounts and subsidiary accounts
• Maintain financial transaction records by posting, verifying, and allocating
• Prepare trial balances for the accountants
• Maintain routine and transparent communication with clients
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support client wellness

Basic Requirements

• Four-year degree in accounting or related field (entry-level minimum two-year degree in pursuit of BA/BS)
• 3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping/accounting in a public or multi-client firm (entry-level minimum is 1+ year)
• Experience in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Literacy in various accounting software and ERP systems
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Confident ability to multi-task with accuracy
• Responsive nature with keen attention to detail
• Professional written and oral communication skills
• Strong organization and time management techniques
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• A curious mind with an entrepreneurial spirit
