Sales Development Representative (SDR) 

 

Division: RapNet, a division of the Rapaport Group 

The Rapaport Group is a global leader in providing services that enhance the transparency, fairness, and efficiency of diamond and jewelry markets. Through its division RapNet, the Rapaport Group operates a premier online B2B diamond trading network, serving thousands of diamond manufacturers, dealers, and retailers worldwide. We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team and contribute to our growth. 

 

Position Overview: 
The Sales Development Representative will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base by generating and qualifying high-quality leads through strategic inbound and outbound outreach. The SDR will also assist in onboarding clients to help streamline the sales process. Reporting to the VP Global Sales, the SDR will collaborate closely with the sales team to advance leads through the sales funnel, ultimately accelerating the sales process and broadening our market reach. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead Generation: Identify and generate new leads through cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach. 
  • Market Research: Conduct in-depth research to identify target prospects and maintain an up-to-date understanding of the diamond and jewelry market. 
  • Outbound Prospecting: Actively source and engage outbound leads, introducing them to RapNet’s solutions. 
  • Lead Qualification: Qualify leads through effective needs assessment, initiating relationships with potential customers, and determining their suitability for RapNet. 
  • Sales Compliance: Work closely with the sales team to help streamline the sales cycle by collecting compliance documents from the prospects to help the onboarding process 
  • Client Onboarding: 

Collect required documentation from new clients during the onboarding process. 

Coordinate with clients to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and submitted in a timely manner. 

  • CRM Management: Accurately record and track all activities, interactions, and customer data in Salesforce.com, ensuring a consistent and process-driven approach. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Native-Level English: Exceptional fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Experience: At least 1 year of sales experience, preferably within SaaS or online marketplaces. 
  • Sales Track Record: Demonstrated success in previous sales roles, with a proven record of meeting or exceeding targets. 
  • Process-Driven Mindset: Commitment to systematic, data-driven sales processes, including precise tracking of customer engagement and accurate forecasting using Salesforce. 
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized, goal-oriented, and adept at managing time efficiently. 
  • Presentation Skills: Strong ability to communicate value propositions and adapt sales techniques to engage diverse client audiences.

Compensation $30,000 - $40,000 Annually + commissions
