The role requires you to take ownership of the product roadmap, user journey, testing plan and optimisation of the user experience. You’d join a committed group of collaborative team players, where we thrive in helping businesses find the best accommodation for their teams.

You’ll need to have proven experience in product management, user journey testing and scaling user adoption. Plus, demonstrate strong performance as an individual accountable for results, and within a team. You'll be responsible for the build of product experiences, from strategy and planning, through to execution, all to enable business growth. Excellent organisation skills, along with strong decision marketing based on research, insights, quantitative and AB testing should be core competencies. Plus, the desire to make a positive difference, and a get-up-and-go attitude should all be things you display daily.

Skills

  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written - confidence and effective phone communication is essential
  • Be highly organised in managing a range of different tasks at once
  • Collaborative in approach, including with development and marketing teams
  • Be digitally strong and comfortable with using a range of online software tools/platforms
  • Deep knowledge of the user journey best practices across multiple devices.
  • Strong user experience sensibilities and familiarity with platform UI best practices.
  • Strong use of analytics, user research, and business cases to drive decisions and improve products.
  • Ability to operate under tight deadlines while maintaining multiple projects.
  • Experienced in planning work for assigned work streams.

Responsibilities

  • Map, test and optimise user journey and experiences
  • Product management including roadmap creation and execution including prioritisation of features and testing
  • Carrying out customer research, insights, quantitative and AB testing methodologies
  • Conduct basic research, interviews, and usability testing to understand customer needs and how to meet them elegantly and effectively meet them
  • Integrate user research, market analysis, and customer feedback into product requirements to ensure products satisfy customer needs, as well as wants
  • Define methods and metrics for identifying success and failure while ensuring the team is clear on their objectives
  • Collaborate with marketing to adapt landing pages and messaging for specific audiences 
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of our digital ecosystem
  • Build both back-end and customer-facing solutions to solve problems

Requirements

4+ years results in a product management role is required.

2+ years of experience in software, marketplaces and travel would be highly beneficial.

The role is primarily Monday to Friday during office hours, however, there is flexibility within this. The role is primarily remote, however, it would be highly desirable to spend a minimum of 2 days per month in our office in Bedford, UK (if feasible).
