Job Description

The Senior Marketing Associate - Candidate reports to the Senior Marketing Manager – Australia Country Marketing. This B2C-focused role supports the development and execution of marketing strategies for job seekers across Australia.  Working under guidance while taking ownership of key deliverables, you'll coordinate candidate marketing initiatives and serve as the primary point of contact for candidate-focused marketing activities.

This is an initial 12 month fixed term contrcat.

  • Executing on the candidate segment plan, as part of the broader Country Marketing plan, to solve customer pain points, address opportunities and drive core metrics.
  • Campaign Coordination: Support the design and execution of integrated TTL marketing programs to acquire, retain and engage job seekers, ensuring consistent delivery across all marketing touchpoints and channels
  • Market Research & Insights: Collaborate with Customer Insights teams to analyse candidate behavior, competitive landscape and market trends, translating findings into actionable marketing recommendations and tactical activities
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary candidate marketing contact across the business, proactively engaging with internal teams to understand candidate needs and identify new marketing opportunities
  • Channel Optimisation: Partner with content, social, PR, digital and campaign teams to develop and optimise targeted communication strategies that address candidate priorities and challenges
  • Product Marketing Support: Work with Product Marketing to localize product launches and value propositions, initiating campaign development that resonates with Australian job seekers
  • Performance Analysis: Support competitive response planning and provide regular reporting on candidate marketing initiative performance and effectiveness
  • Keep a keen eye on customer needs, emerging trends, and new ways to evolve our approach to engaging Candidates with the SEEK brand to stay ahead of our competitive set.  

The team

You'll be part of the Australian Country Marketing team, which sits within the broader ANZ Country Marketing function. Our collaborative 14-person team is responsible for driving marketing excellence against commercial objectives and developing local marketing strategies that serve diverse customer needs across Australia and New Zealand. You'll work closely with your Senior Marketing Manager and engage with stakeholders across Product, Creative, Digital and Insights teams.

Qualifications
  • Marketing experience in B2C marketing, with strong campaign execution skills and marketing qualification 
  • Comprehensive understanding of digital marketing channels and consumer marketing principles
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Strong project coordination abilities with proven experience maintaining momentum across multiple initiatives while adapting to changing requirements 
  • Analytical mindset with ability to synthesize customer research and feedback into actionable marketing activities
  • Detail-oriented execution focus with ability to work effectively under guidance while taking ownership of specific deliverables
