Job description

The Production Planner is responsible for coordinating prodcution workflow for multiple products.

Planning and prioritising operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.

Determining manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand.

.

  • Manage the daily production plans based on requirements driven by demandand sales forecasts.
  • Ensuring the demand planning process is accurate and verifiable
  • Analyse production capacity and suggest the potential capacity challenges
  • Contribute to the S&OP process ensuring customers’ needs are understood sothat suppliers and operations are aligned and can deliver the plan.
  • Focus on achieving planning KPIs including customer DIFOT attainment.· Liaise with Production to understand needs and prioritise operations ensuringmaximum performance and minimum delay
  • Drive continuous improvement in the performance of production to meetdemand.· Identifying issues impacting supply and liaising with stakeholders.
  • Managing site purchasing requirements.

  • Food Manufacturing experience with short shelf life/daily fresh product
  • Capacity Planning and production scheduling experience
  • A proven ability to successfully influence and mentor people
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentand collaborate across teams and functions to achieve outcomes.
  • Flexible and ability to think on your feet· Creative problem solver· High attention to detail
  • The ability to adapt to our constantly evolving environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel· Sense of urgency
  • 2+ years’ experience in a planning position in a FMCG environment, not essential for right candidate.
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in developing and implementing processes designed to optimise order fulfilment efficiency and effectiveness
