B2B Sales Executive

Remotely based

Salary: R19 000 to R21500 basic (Generous commission/ incentive structure)

Our client in the UK is a membership-driven organisation defining the standards at the heart of global trading. They are looking for an individual to fulfil the role of Sales Executive.

This role will create opportunities for the candidate to understand the operation of global financial markets and have regular contact with our members, many of whom are from some of the largest financial firms across the globe.

The associate will work in a small team, all of whom have held senior positions in the financial markets and have significant industry experience. This is an exciting opportunity for either a junior or an experienced salesperson looking to work in the heart of the financial industry and to develop the role to help the organisation prosper.

It is essential that the candidate enjoys challenges, can use their own initiative and is prepared to show flexibility in providing support to the organisation. Strong written and verbal communication skills and good organisational and team-working skills are essential.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying gaps in companys membership (e.g., particular firm types or geographies), and creating leads
  • Maintaining CRM
  • Arranging and executing pitches
  • Managing the onboarding of new members (including follow-up meetings and promotional materials)
  • Selling sponsorship and delegate passes for conferences and other events
