PhD in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field.
At least 1–2 years of laboratory research experience in molecular biology, microbiology (bacterial or viral), cancer research (oncogenesis, drug resistance, drug discovery), or a related field.
Demonstrated experience with cell culture, Western blotting, PCR, flow cytometry, microscopy, and animal handling.
Proficient in molecular techniques including molecular cloning, gene mutation, CRISPR, and lentiviral systems, as well as working with animal models (i.p., i.v., oral, and intracranial injections).
Strong scientific writing skills with first-author peer-reviewed publications.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong scientific writing and presentation skills
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Solid understanding of experimental design and research ethics
Familiarity with grant preparation, compliance protocols, and regulatory documentation (IRB, IACUC, IBC)

Responsibilities:
Design, perform, and troubleshoot complex experiments in molecular biology, microbiology, and cancer research.
Develop and refine research protocols, analyze data, and publish findings.
Maintain detailed and organized research records and laboratory documentation.
Support grant writing, IRB/IACUC/IBC applications, and compliance reporting.
Provide scientific mentorship and training to students and research staff.
Other duties as assigned.
