Job description

Job Title: New Business & Customer Service Manager
Employment type: Full-time/permanent
Working environment: Remote with travel to the UK periodically a possibility

About our Client:
We are a metal recycling business, with a twist. One arm of the organisation is a traditional scrapyard operating out of WS7 in the UK and the other is an innovative scrap metal collection service for trade professionals and businesses. Our collection service is already the country’s largest doorstep service for collecting and recycling non-ferrous metals - and we’ve only just started!

Who are we looking for?
As a small team, every employee truly counts so we’re looking for a star player to join our squad. This role requires; regular contact with our customers and creating good relationships on a remote basis, general administration and data entry. We are looking for a customer service superstar, a data entry machine or an experienced account manager that takes ownership of tasks and enjoys a diverse range of duties. This role is currently shared among the directors of the business, therefore you will be provided with excellent training and will continue to work alongside them on a regular basis.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and diligent team player to take on a new role in the business. We’re looking for someone who LOVES to create great conversations and forge strong relationships with new and existing customers alike. This person will be the “voice of the business” and typically the first person anyone speaks to when contacting the business regarding a query or setting up a new account with us.


Key responsibilities and duties:
  • Regularly review our leads/customers in the CRM and make contact where required
  • Onboard new customers with data entry on multiple platforms
  • Respond to inbound enquiries via phone and email
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve customer satisfaction
  • Support general operations in the business when time allows





Requirements
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • Excellent customer service with a desire to ensure every customer is a happy customer. We have over 150 FIVE STAR reviews and excellence is all we know.
  • Good experience of using digital platforms; CRM, geo-mapping, email platforms etc.
  • Strong communication skills on an internal and external basis
  • General knowledge of central England, and the location of key towns and cities located within it Extensive experience in the above is not essential, as training will be provided, but basic demonstrations will be requested during the interview process.



Benefits
Location: Fully Remote
UK Working Hours: 8am - 5pm Mon - Fri
Salary Range: R20 000 - R30 000
