Job description

Role Summary

The main mission of this role is to drive and grow sales revenue in the assigned Northern Europe territory. You will represent our client directly to their clients, at trade shows, and within professional networks.

You are responsible for the profitability of your accounts and for implementing a commercial strategy in your territory.

You will build and manage a network of partners (agents and distributors), set and execute a sales plan and budget, perform competitive intelligence, and report your activities.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Retention

  • Grow the revenue of your assigned territory through:
    • Active prospecting of new clients.
    • Retention and development of existing customers.
  • Guarantee the profitability of your accounts.
  • Identify, qualify, and respond to incoming inquiries (offers, projects).
  • Build, manage, and energize a network of partners (agents & distributors).
  • Establish and implement the sales policy for your territory.
  • Work closely with the office-based sales team in your area.
  • Travel to visit clients approximately 30-40% of your time.
  • Monitor and manage sales statistics to take appropriate action.

Organization & Planning

  • Develop an annual sales forecast and action plan for the territory.
  • Organize and optimize your travel and activities based on priorities.
  • Manage your time autonomously.

Reporting & Market Intelligence

  • Provide key information (market, competition, technical feedback) to the Sales Manager and relevant teams.
  • Write visit reports and record them in the CRM.
  • Collaborate with internal departments on ongoing projects and cases.
  • Conduct market research and share insights with relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide photos/videos to marketing for communication purposes.
  • Work with marketing on sourcing trade shows and exploring new applications.

Performance Indicators

  • Achievement of revenue and margin objectives.
  • Growth and quality of customer/prospect portfolio.
  • Quality and relevance of forecasts and action plans.
  • Frequency and quality of reports and CRM updates.

Working Conditions

  • Status: Full-time
  • Travel: 3040% in Northern Europe
  • Work Environment: Industrial SME, direct and collaborative culture
  • Tools & Equipment: Company car, laptop, phone

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree (minimum) in Business, Engineering, or Mechanics.
  • Experience in mechanical construction or production of small/medium series products is an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in technical sales with proven results.
