Job description

Cognia is a fast-growing law company with ambitious plans to deliver on our strategic goals over the next five years. This role is a great opportunity to join a high-energy team and contribute directly to that growth.

Role Purpose:

As an Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for the health, satisfaction and growth of our client accounts. You’ll ensure that our managed services deliver on what was promised, meet performance targets, and set the stage for renewals and future expansion.

This is a client-facing role for someone who builds trust quickly, handles complexity with confidence, and enjoys shaping long-term partnerships. You’ll play a central part in ensuring we deliver value every day, and grow our footprint along the way.

Company Profile

Cognia seamlessly extends corporates, banks and law firms’ legal capability to deliver sustainable outcomes. Our goal is to connect the legal sector, moving it from a siloed approach to integrated partnerships. We help in-house legal teams by bringing simplicity to complex matters and replacing broken procedures with efficient processes.

Cognia is a Chambers-ranked law company which integrates how legal services are provided so our team, partners, clients and communities thrive together with people at the heart of what we do. We encourage our people to bring their whole self to work and focus on enabling them to realise their full potential.

  • Build trust-based relationships that allow you to navigate challenges and grow accounts over time.
  • Capture and share client feedback internally to help improve our service and spot new opportunities.
  • Support proposal writing and commercial discussions when expanding the scope of work.
  • Keep CRM records accurate and up to date for all client interactions and opportunities.

This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days per week in our London office, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remaining 2 days.

Requirements

Ideally the Account Managers will have a proven, evidence-based track record of:

  • 4+ years in an account management role within an ALSP, law firm or legal operations function.
