Position Description

Please note this is an In-Office role based in Foster City, CA Monday through Thursday, (Fridays are a work from home day). 

Bertram Capital is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join the firm in its San Francisco Bay Area office. This individual will report to the Manager, Administration. A successful Administrative Assistant will be organized, reliable, able to maintain confidentiality, and able to successfully manage several time sensitive requests and projects simultaneously.

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide support to leaders throughout the organization with various administrative tasks.
  • Serve as back up for the Office Assistant and front desk coverage as needed
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including: transportation, accommodations, and travel itineraries according to company Travel & Expense Policy
  • Maintain and manage calendars by scheduling meetings and communicating with executives and partners regarding schedules regularly.
  • Complete and submit expense reports by the required deadline as outlined in the Firm’s Travel & Expense Policy
  • Assist with ordering, organizing and distributing office and event supplies
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Serve as an active member of the Operations team
  • Participate in event planning and culture building activities for the Firm 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years of Office Management/Administrative Assistant experience in a fast paced and challenging environment
  • Exceptional detail orientation as well as interpersonal and organizational skills
  • High integrity in working with confidential information
  • Knowledge of Concur, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to focus, multi-task and work under pressure to meet the required deadlines
  • Flexible, team player who will help, teach, and learn from others
  • Must be willing to work out of our SF Bay Area (Foster City, CA) office

Compensation and Benefits:

The expected salary range for this position is: $90,000- $110,000 total annual compensation.  Offered salary may be based on a variety of factors including skills, experience, and qualifications for the role. After one year of tenure, employees will receive an additional annual bonus.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
