Role Summary

NearSource is looking for a C++ Application Developer to join a long-term project focused on building cross-platform applications and tools for the Media & Entertainment industry. The selected candidate will contribute to the development of high-performance features and services across multiple operating systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance applications, plugins, and tools for cross-platform deployment
• Implement new features using C++ and Python for a media-focused product suite
• Collaborate with engineering teams across Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms
• Integrate with orchestration pipelines using tools like Jenkins
• Maintain secure code practices, leveraging scanning and signing tools
• Manage codebase versioning and collaboration via Git and GitHub
• Package and distribute builds using tools like Artifactory, NuGet, or Conan

Must-Have Skills

• Proficient in C++ programming for complex systems and applications
• Hands-on experience with Python or an equivalent scripting language
• Familiar with Windows, macOS, and Linux development environments
• Strong understanding of Git and GitHub workflows
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Jenkins or similar orchestration tools
• Knowledge of package management systems like Artifactory, NuGet, or Conan
• Familiarity with secure code scanning and signing tools such as Black Duck or Gara Sign
