Your role
As Senior Analyst, User Experience (UX) Research, reporting to the Director, Design and User Experience Strategy, you work closely with strategists, interactive designers, product managers and solutions teams to help them develop the best possible user experience for a given digital product.
You’ll join the Digital Media team where a major initiative is underway to modernize Radio-Canada’s digital ecosystem and make it more resilient in an evolving media environment. This work will be carried out in close co-operation with various departments and will help build the public broadcaster’s future.
You conduct research in a real (web page or app) or simulated (working prototype) digital environment via user tests and surveys, perform evidence-based analysis of digital user behaviour, identify trends, and present a detailed report of findings and appropriate recommendations.
You plan and operationalize the implementation process for user testing at all stages of digital product development:
Passionate about digital media and social behaviour, you base your work on research into digital audience trends, behaviours and insights while taking into account business and user needs. You regularly monitor technological developments, sociological trends and the competition.
You occasionally assist in running ideation workshops (design sprints, design thinking) to help strategists, product managers and interactive designers clarify business and UX intentions.
