Job description

The Sales Operations Lead / COO – Hedge Fund Line of Business is a key member of the centralized Sales Operations function, embedded within the hedge fund vertical to drive performance, pipeline health, and go-to-market execution. This position acts as the operational partner to the Hedge Fund Sales leader, combining hands-on analytics with operational excellence and leveraging strong business acumen with data analysis to helps ensure the segment executes against its strategic and revenue goals.

You won’t be building foundational processes from scratch — instead, you'll leverage core frameworks from the central Sales Operations team and tailor them to the hedge fund segment. Your focus will be on execution: running the business cadence, enabling segment-level insights, and driving seller productivity in close coordination with GTM, RevOps, Finance, Marketing, and Product. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, demonstrates strong analytical capabilities, and can translate data into meaningful business insights while maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Segment Business Operations & GTM Execution

  • Drive weekly and monthly business reviews, forecast calls, and performance tracking for the hedge fund segment
  • Operationalize annual GTM plans, quota allocations, and seller coverage in alignment with corporate planning
  • Monitor segment performance vs. targets and recommend actions to improve pipeline, velocity, and win rates

Sales Execution Support

  • Identify process improvements that remove friction for sellers, improve CRM hygiene, and support growth
  • Track seller-level productivity, onboarding ramp, and resource utilization across the segment

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Serve as the connective tissue between hedge fund sales and Clearwater’s central functions (Product, Finance, Marketing, RevOps)
  • Drive segment-specific inputs into pricing decisions, customer targeting, and product readiness
  • Represent the hedge fund LoB in companywide GTM and planning cadences

Qualifications

  • 6–8+ years in Sales Operations, GTM Strategy, or Business Operations roles in SaaS, fintech, or financial services
  • Prior experience supporting hedge funds, asset managers, or complex institutional clients preferred
  • Familiarity with sales cadences, pipeline analysis, quota planning, and forecast management
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Excel/Sheets, and BI tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.)
  • Strong communicator and cross-functional collaborator; able to influence without authority
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment

Salary Range

$110,000.00 - $168,000.00

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health/vision/dental insurance, 401(k), PTO, parental leave, and medical leave, STD/LTD insurance benefits.
