Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment where you’re constantly connecting the dots? We’re looking for a Staffing Coordinator who’s detail-oriented, caregiver-focused, and ready to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.
At Tandem, Staffing Coordinators play a key role in building the foundation for great care. You’ll be interviewing caregivers, coordinating schedules, arranging meet and greets, auditing timecards, and keeping communication flowing between our team and the field. If you love structure, are obsessed with details, and feel energized managing logistics and supporting people, this could be the perfect fit.
This is a fast-paced, full-time role with a fixed schedule and weekly overtime. Candidates should be fully comfortable with the following:
Pay Rate: $24–$26 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, plus one weekend morning (Saturday or Sunday), 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM
Overtime: This position includes a minimum of 5 hours of overtime every week, paid in accordance with state law
On-Call: You will participate in an on-call rotation every other week. Any calls that come in outside of business hours must be addressed promptly, and all time spent is paid as overtime
Remote Role: Must be comfortable working from home, on the phone, and on your computer throughout the day
This isn’t a traditional 9–5 position. It’s structured, fast-paced, and designed for someone who thrives with a full calendar and clear expectations. You’ll be on the phone and in virtual meetings throughout the day, working closely with caregivers and internal teams — so it’s important that you're comfortable being on camera and at your desk for most of your shift. If you like staying busy, enjoy problem-solving in real time, and prefer a set routine with predictable hours (plus weekly overtime), this could be a great fit.
As a Staffing Coordinator at Tandem, you’ll be on the front lines of caregiver coordination — part recruiter, part scheduler, part problem-solver. You’ll work closely with caregivers and internal teams to ensure each case is launched smoothly and maintained with accuracy and care.
Your day-to-day will include:
Caregiver Interviews & Onboarding: Screen new caregiver applicants, assess fit, and help guide them through our onboarding process.
Staffing New Cases: Match caregivers to Companion Care clients based on preferences, skills, and availability. Coordinate introductions and follow up after meet and greets.
Caregiver Support & Communication: Be a go-to contact for caregivers in the field, helping with questions, documentation, and early-stage coaching as needed.
Timecard & Reimbursement Oversight: Review and audit caregiver timecards, mileage, and reimbursements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Client Support: Assist clients with logistical or documentation questions, especially around scheduling or visit tracking.
Onboarding Support: Help the Care Coordinator with new caregiver orientations and client onboarding steps.
Documentation Audits: Ensure all schedules, timecards, and client visit notes are complete and accurate.
Phone & On-Call Backup: Support the team by backing up phones during business hours and participating in the on-call rotation for evening and weekend support.
At least 2 years of experience working specifically for a licensed non-medical caregiving agency — not home health, hospice, doctor’s offices, or assisted living facilities
Direct experience with caregiver scheduling, staffing, and case coordination in a home care setting
Proven experience recruiting, interviewing, and hiring caregivers, either independently or in collaboration with a team
Experience working remotely and managing a fast-paced, communication-heavy workload
Comfortable conducting both caregiver and client meetings virtually, being on camera, and working at your desk for most of the day
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities without losing track
Tech-savvy and confident using online platforms, scheduling systems, and internal documentation tools
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
Comprehensive Benefits Package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance to keep you covered.
401(k) with Company Match: Invest in your future with our 401(k) program and company contribution.
Paid Time Off: Generous PTO because balance matters.
Fully Remote: Work from anywhere while staying tightly connected to your team.
Well-Structured Role: You’ll know what’s expected, have clear workflows, and the tools you need to succeed.
Mission-Driven Work: You’ll play a vital role in making sure every case is staffed with the right caregiver and set up for long-term success.
If you're looking for a dynamic, caregiver-centered role where you’ll stay busy, support meaningful care, and help build a better home care experience — we’d love to meet you.
