About the Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Back-End .NET Developer to join our Agile development team and support mission-critical systems for a global financial services organization. In this role, you will focus exclusively on backend development, contributing to the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance APIs and microservices.

This is a remote position based in Colombia, offering a collaborative environment with exposure to modern tools and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using C# and .NET Core / .NET 6+
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend logic to support scalable applications
• Integrate with internal and external systems through APIs, queues, and database interactions
• Write clean, efficient, testable code using best practices and design patterns
• Perform unit and integration testing to ensure system quality and reliability
• Work with MySQL and other relational databases to store and retrieve data efficiently
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, DevOps, and QA

Required Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional experience in backend development with .NET (C#)
• Proficiency with .NET Core or .NET 6+
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Solid understanding of MySQL and relational database principles
• Familiarity with Entity Framework or similar ORM frameworks
• Hands-on experience with Git or other version control tools
• Exposure to unit testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
