Some of the tasks you will be entrusted with 

In this newly established role, you’ll join the senior leadership teams of our global Technology – including Technology, Sustainability and Research & Development – helping shape their organisational priorities and build engaged, high-performing teams. 

You’ll have full People & Culture (P&C) ownership for these areas and act as a strategic advisor across all people and organisational matters. Reporting to the VP, Business Partnering, you’ll also be part of the P&C Business Partnering leadership team. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Identify the need to improve or develop P&C processes/policies based on interactions with the business 

  • Offer perspectives and insights to formulate strategy on all P&C areas 

  • Lead the implementation of the P&C agenda within own area of responsibility 

  • Be the go-to person in HR-related matters including talent acquisition & management, succession planning, change management initiatives or planning for people development. 

  • Support and challenge senior leaders in business discussions and provide feedback to line managers on leadership as well as management decisions and their impact on business 

  • Workforce planning and implementation to meet business needs from time to time. 

  • Oversee that managers act in accordance with the defined policies and principles 

  • Lead and develop leaders to create an organization with an inclusive and diverse performance culture 

  • Partner with business leaders to be an integral part of their leadership team 

  • Effectively build trust with senior management leaders and establish an open and honest relationship that allows them to function as a trusted advisor 

  • Communicate frequently and align effectively within the matrix as single point of contact to the remaining P&C organisation 

  • Effectively balance functional and business priorities, highlighting and address issues when needed 

  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends and advising senior management on the same. 

 

What we expect you to have in your backpack as background and experience  

  • 7+ years of experience in a strategic HR Business Partner role or similar, ideally in a global matrix organisation 

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field 

  • Strong experience in driving change and transformation 

  • A natural ability to build trust and credibility with senior leaders 

  • Fluent English and excellent communication and presentation skills 

  • Analytical thinking and confidence in using data to support decision-making 

While experience within HR is an advantage, we also welcome applicants with strong business experience and a genuine passion for people and organisational topics.
