About this Position
We are seeking an Associate HR Manager to join BeOne APAC HR operation team. This role is responsible for employees’ life-cycle management in location/region to provide high-level HR service and improve employee experience, APAC projects initiatives and management to ensure successful delivery, APAC new markets support from HR operations side. Act as the front-line HR and be the clear point for local/regional HR Operations management in accordance with local legislation and company policy.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and support JAPAC HR core processes (onboarding, termination, probation, internal job change processes, leave and company benefits management etc.) in location/region to provide high-level HR service and improve employee experience.
- Support JAPAC new entities/markets set-up from HR operations side (HR system and process support), working closely with HRBP, Legal, Total Rewards team and overseas vendors to quickly build up local hiring and remote support process and make sure everything is compliance with local legislation.
- Initiate and manage JAPAC projects, to support business and the HR initiatives required in compliance with local law, to ensure successful delivery at due time.
- Act as the first line HR and be the clear point for local/regional HR Operations management in accordance with local legislation and company policy, try to improve JAPAC employment related knowledge and capability.
- This role would be considered as the go-to ‘HR contact’ for the broader Local teams, in supporting the local HR requirements, like participating in the local meetings with employee and employer representatives for company related discussions/meetings, where it needs a ‘local’ HR presence etc. Support and assist any other occasional ad-hoc duties/matters of HR (HRBP and TA etc.) as assigned/requested.
Qualification Required:
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in HR Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
- At least 5 years HR work experience and 3 years in HR operations.
- Relevant experience in an APAC role is required, HR experience in supporting with another country in APAC region is an advantage.
- Experience gained from pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industry is preferred.
- Solid knowledge of local employment legislation, Work Rules, HR policies and practices.
- A team player appreciates working collaboratively with one team mindset.
- High sense of responsibility and integrity, good analytical and problem-solving skills, vendor management skills.
- High level of data-handling capacity. Excellent for software (especially EXCEL) usages. Prefer work knowledge on Workday, Power BI, Power Automatic. A quick learner for new technology and app.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal in local language and English, prefer can communicate in Chinese.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
