The role:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing registration and/or operations for a large-scale B2B event (Conference Type) with over 5,000+ delegates from around the world. 

Candidate should have the ability to develop and communicate complex badging processes, working with internal and external stakeholders. 

Candidate should be comfortable making independent decisions as well as working with team members to ensure registration policies and processes meet the requirements of various stakeholders, including partnership, speakers, compliance, security, and others.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate all aspects of registration including pre-event technology build, creation of registration paths, development of badging requirements, design and post event wrap up
  • Create and maintain registration policies and procedures in coordination with compliance and Delegate Experience Director
  • Coordinate various registration requirements with Speaker, Partner & Delegate teams
  • Monitor and respond to incoming registration questions
  • Create and track registration codes, custom reports as needed
  • Track and report on financial targets for registration; track and report on delegate demographics
  • Work closely with finance team on payments, reconciliations, cancellations & financial reports
  • Manages email communication to keep delegates informed of key announcements pre-, during, and post-event
  • Integrate COVID requirements into the onsite registration process, as needed
  • Liaison with registration vendor on any software issues or updates required
  • Creates schedule for onsite staff support
  • Create documentation and manage training of onsite staff support; Oversee the management of onsite staff support at registration during event
  • Possess strong communication and organizational skills

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in large B2B registration management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in Registration Platform (Cvent, Aventri, Rainfocus, Bizzabo, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Possess strong client-facing communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Ability to travel domestic & international for an event
