About the Role

As a Senior Sales Executive – Core Banking Solutions, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving strategic growth across the UK banking sector. You’ll be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities with banks and financial institutions, delivering transformative core banking technology that redefines how the world banks.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Leading end-to-end sales cycles for core banking solutions with Tier 1–3 banks across the UK.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with C-level stakeholders (CIO, COO, CTO, Heads of Digital/IT).
  • Developing tailored proposals and value propositions aligned with client transformation goals.
  • Collaborating with pre-sales, product, and delivery teams to ensure seamless client engagement.
  • Staying ahead of market trends and competitor offerings to position FIS as a trusted advisor.

What You’ll Need
  • Proven track record in enterprise software sales, ideally within core banking or digital banking platforms.
  • Deep understanding of the UK banking landscape and regulatory environment.
  • Strong network within the financial services sector, particularly with decision-makers.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles and close high-value deals.

Bonus Points If You Have
  • Experience working with cloud-native or SaaS-based core banking platforms.
  • Background in digital transformation or banking technology consulting.
