What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be joining CIBC’s Risk Management Project Management Office and Delivery team. You’ll work closely with others and manage the overall oversight of the Risk Portfolio of projects. As a Portfolio Consultant, you will be providing consulting, advice and governance oversight, including financial review, for the Risk Portfolio of initiatives.

How You’ll Succeed
Portfolio Management & Governance – Oversee the comprehensive management of project portfolios, ensuring alignment with fiscal plans and strategic objectives while championing adherence to the Enterprise Delivery Framework (EDF) and project management standards. Actively monitor portfolio health, addressing risks and variances proactively to maintain alignment with organizational goals.
Financial Oversight – Provide insights of the portfolio by reviewing trends and projections to accordingly provide analytical view of the data and recommendations. Support funding requests and provide analysis to prioritize projects based on strategic impact and resource requirements
Communication - Well developed written and verbal communication skills. Ability to facilitate meetings with peers, partners and executives as required. Ability to produce a variety of business documents with clarity of thought and orderliness of presentation. Ability to articulate factual and conceptual information which require detailed explanation or interpretation.
Who You Are
You can demonstrate experience. 3-5+ years of project management and/or financial reporting experience in the financial industry, experience in forecasting, and variance analysis. You have a strong understanding of program/project management methodologies (Traditional and Agile) and governance frameworks.

You have a degree/diploma in mathematics, statistics, finance, project management, computer science, and/or related field. It’s an asset if you have your MBA or PMP Designation.
