Role Purpose:

The Email Account Manager will help maintain client satisfaction by ensuring exceptional service and creating value for clients. Account Managers are in daily contact with clients and internal SME's. They are looked to as main resources on our client teams to ensure the quality of client deliverables from across various Merkle departments.

Key Responsibilities:

The Email Account Manager is responsible for the daily work of of our clients' marketing strategies. They are the "glue" who bring together all the different pieces to deliver Accounts on budget. They are the important point person for deliverables for both the internal Merkle team and with clients for tactical delivery or account status. By ensuring marketing and support activities are completed, the Account Manager directly impacts the success of our clients and Merkle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years experience in client services/ account management in an advertising agency, marketing company, or client side marketing department with a working knowledge of:
  • Online and offline creative development
  • Digital Marketing
  • Multichannel/Integrated Marketing
  • Campaign management of large, complex email initiatives
  • Database marketing
  • Relationship/Client Management
  • Solid experience and comfort level with management of data (i.e. creating segments, queries and manipulating lists)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or like platform

The annual salary range for this position is $68,000 - $110,400. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
