About the role:

The BDM’s prime objective is to maximize and leverage vendor programs as well as building appropriate plans to achieve our business objectives. This position will serve as the strategic and operational lead for vendor programs (e.g. Lenovo, Intel, AMD – Data Center Vendors) across the European region. In sum, this role bridges vendor engagement, internal execution, and cross-functional alignment to drive revenue growth, operational excellence, and partner enablement.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage vendor programs across our business units to maximize the joint growth opportunity.

  • Thoroughly understand these programs, provide clear directions, and engage with country sales teams. Conduct regular business reviews and effectively position results/successes back to the vendors.

  • Collaborate across business units and with vendor stakeholders to maximize funding.

  • Develop and support the implementation of additional vendor funded programs, business plans, and internal programs to achieve business objectives and long-term goals.

  • Evaluate programs and initiatives on a regular basis and drive adjustments where needed based on ROI and results.

  • Track progress against annual and quarterly plans, consistently monitoring and evaluating performance to achieve market growth.

  • Create, validate and maintain vendor reports and dashboards needed to assess progress and decision making.

  • Analyse business data and create comprehensive reports including business insights, proposals, and solutions

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in the IT industry with channel, ideally from a sales or product marketing background.

  • Business planning experience with strong operational cadence.

  • Strategic planning and business case development.

  • Full proficiency in English, other languages will be a plus.

  • Experience of working within a matrix structure.

  • Proven ability to self-manage in an external environment.

  • Demonstrates capability of having a clear understanding of strategic direction and challenges.

  • Able to communicate using a wide range of tools clearly and effectively with customers.

  • Influence and persuasion.

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Self-management.

  • Skilled multi-level relationship builder.

  • High energy and motivation.
