Job description

At Evenbound, we exist to empower our clients and our team members to reach their full potential as we create and grow end-to-end solutions on HubSpot. As a growth marketing agency, we specialize in HubSpot, digital transformation, and marketing strategy. We commonly execute HubSpot implementations and onboardings, website projects, and Team as a Service retainers for our clients. As our team grows, we’re excited to welcome an Account Manager who’s ready to learn, grow, and make an impact.

What You’ll Do

As an Account Manager at Evenbound, you’ll work closely with Account Strategists and Program Managers to support the success of our clients. You’ll help manage projects, gather insights, keep communication flowing, and make sure everything is running smoothly. You will report directly to the Senior Account Strategist.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in marketing and client service, who thrives in a collaborative environment and is excited to grow in the HubSpot ecosystem.

Responsibilities:
  • Client Communication Support: Assist Account Strategists with day-to-day client communication, including preparing agendas, sending follow-ups, and responding to client questions with clarity and professionalism.
  • Project Coordination: Help keep projects moving by tracking tasks, timelines, and deliverables. Use tools like ClickUp and Slack to ensure internal and external stakeholders stay aligned.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Create and maintain reports using HubSpot and Google tools. Support the team by identifying trends and helping translate data into client-ready insights.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with content, development, and strategy teams to gather the information needed for successful project execution.
  • Meeting Preparation: Assist in scheduling and preparing materials for client meetings, taking notes, and summarizing action items to ensure follow-through.
  • Learning & Growth: Actively participate in trainings, internal team discussions, and HubSpot certifications to build your strategic, technical, and operational knowledge over time.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, customer service, or a related field.
  • Experience in an agency setting is a bonus.
  • A strong interest in digital marketing and client services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — you’re proactive, thoughtful, and a good listener.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative, remote-first environment.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot or similar tools is a bonus — a willingness to learn is a must.
  • Comfortable managing 2–4 accounts with a total portfolio of $15,000+ monthly recurring revenue.

Special consideration for candidates with knowledge of lean methodology and/or the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS).

Work where you want, when you want. At Evenbound, we believe we work best when we set our own productive schedules. That flexibility extends to where we work, too. While we have an office in downtown Grand Haven that we love, our team is distributed and works remotely (you are welcome to visit the office anytime). There's no weekly "in the office" quota to meet — we work to get work done, however that works for you.

Regular team meet-ups. Since the Evenbound team is primarily remote, we work hard to schedule team meet-up opportunities when we can. From camping to ski trips to industry conferences, we believe that hanging out in person makes our team stronger, helping to build real relationships in a virtual world.

Our Tech Stack

We don’t expect everyone to have experience with the technology that we use, but if you do, we certainly want to know about it. Here is a basic list of technologies we use:

  • HubSpot CRM
  • G Suite
  • Google Drive
  • Google Ads
  • Google Analytics
  • Slack
  • ClickUp
  • PandaDoc
  • LucidChart
  • Zoom
  • Fathom
  • ChatGPT

Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, + Belonging

Evenbound’s mission - our reason for existing - is to empower our clients + team members to reach their full potential. To us, that means every single person on and engaging with our team has the right to feel they belong in an inclusive, equitable, and diverse work experience.

We’re committed to learning and growing. This Core Value of ours speaks to the fact we acknowledge there’s a lot of space to learn, grow, and support the areas of DEIB, both now and in the future. We understand the responsibility we have to elevate underrepresented voices, to take an active role in promoting equity and belonging, and to always seek opportunities to create more inclusive ways for all individuals to be able to show up authentically just as they are.
