Job description

A leading organisation in the Risk Management, IT, and Cybersecurity sector is seeking a highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Remote Personal Assistant for 10 hours per week, to provide direct support to the CEO of the organisation. This is a critical role requiring someone who can efficiently manage the CEO’s schedule, communications, travel, and day-to-day administrative needs. The ideal candidate will thrive in a technology-driven environment, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and possess the ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information with absolute discretion. Prior experience in the IT, cybersecurity, or risk management industry is essential.

The client is based in Pretoria and occasional meetings at the office will be expected
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-level administrative support directly to the CEO.

  • Manage the CEO’s diary, appointments, and meeting schedules.

  • Coordinate and manage national and international travel arrangements, including bookings and detailed itineraries.

  • Prepare, compile, and distribute reports, summaries, and presentations for the CEO.

  • Maintain efficient filing systems and document management processes.

  • Assist with work scheduling, task tracking, and deadline management for the CEO’s projects.

  • Provide administrative support related to risk management, business continuity, and compliance.

  • Manage and prioritise the CEO’s email correspondence and follow-ups.

  • Coordinate virtual meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes when required.

  • Conduct research and assist the CEO with special projects and strategic initiatives.

  • Handle highly confidential company and client information with professionalism and discretion


Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant, Personal Assistant, or Executive Assistant

  • Must have experience working within the IT, cybersecurity, or risk management sectors.

  • Familiarity with business continuity, risk, and compliance processes.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems and software.

  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work remotely.

  • Reliable internet connection and own laptop/PC with appropriate backup solutions.

  • Professional, discreet, and trustworthy.

  • Proactive and solutions-driven with strong initiative.

  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Adaptable and dependable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.



Benefits

Salary: R200 - R220
