Position Description:

The Senior Financial Analyst position is responsible for numerous analyses and reporting functions spanning a wide range of financial issues and multiple areas within ACTIVE Network’s organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of finance and financial analysis concepts, along with solid understanding of Accounting principles, strong analytical and communication skills, will be responsible and detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while working in a fast-paced environment. This includes producing accurate and timely reports; finding ways to streamline, improve, or automate key processes; and strong data gathering and presentation skills.  This position will support a Finance Manager or a senior member of the Finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide financial analysis and support across a variety of areas potentially including, but not limited to, P&L forecasting and analysis, consolidation and presentation of financial results, foreign currency analysis, cash flow forecasting and analysis, investor relations support, and other ad hoc analysis projects;
• Develop and maintain complex Excel models, while consistently finding ways to innovate and reduce time to complete key tasks;
• Produce frequent financial and key performance indicator reports including variance analysis and trending reports;
• Support the month-end financial close process by analyzing data and identifying errors and inconsistencies;
• Assist with forecasting, budgeting including entering data using Hyperion Planning, and producing summary reports for cost of sales and G&A expenses;
• Recommend process improvements to help drive efficiencies for the finance team, including automating current processes;
• Support the finance team with other duties and special projects.

Requirements:

• BS/BA degree in finance or accounting
• 4+ years’ experience in a finance or accounting function, preferably with experience in financial planning and analysis
• Analytical, accurate, detail-oriented, and a self-starter able to meet deadlines and work successfully in a fast-paced environment
• Data mining skills are essential.  Able to quickly convert large amounts of data into useable format to support financial decisions
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.  Able to communicate and work effectively with stakeholders across multiple business functions
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential
• Experience with Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and Oracle EBS is a plus
• Experience with Power BI is a plus.

Pay Range is $75,000 - 85,000

The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
