Marketing Development Representatives (MDRs) at Xurrent are the tip of the spear of Marketing-sourced pipeline for our Growth engine. The MDR’s role is to maximize the demand generated by Company investments in paid media, digital and inbound lead flow, and virtual and field events. MDRs engage prospects with intelligent and consultative content and tactics via a variety of channels..  The MDR function at Xurrent is an important early career stage role –  significant effort on training and professional development will open up career paths into GTM and CX.

Responsibilities

Inbound Demand Capture

  • Consistently meet or exceed marketing development quotas - booked meetings (ideally that convert to closed won business) from inbound marketing leads
  • Adhere to SLAs on follow-up timing and touch plan execution
  • Identify and improve best practices to help refine Xurrent’s Growth tactics while interfacing with Sales to gain learnings on best-in-class prospect engagement

 Chat and Consultative Engagement

  • Engage with prospects through website chat tool; guiding conversations towards booking a demo through a consultative approach
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Xurrent platform and value propositions by industry, professional role, and competitive solutions
  • Build consultative and value-seeking relationships with prospects

Market and Account Familiarity

  • Maintain detailed activity records in Salesforce
  • Build muscles in account familiarity with account intelligence gathering and decision making unit identification. Spotlight account acumen in weekly forecast call with leadership while reviewing top prospects in your touch plan
  • Create customer profiles for five customers in assigned territory including length of relationship, champion, use case, and expansion opportunities
  • Proactively and creatively search for and uncover new business opportunities in territory, engaging them with marketing content and event registrations

  • Know your numbers; report on activity volume, conversion rate to meetings booked, and number of accounts prospected weekly

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of prior sales or customer service experience, including part-time
  • Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, and website chat software are a huge plus
  • Prior experience with B2B SaaS providers
  • Must work at least 3 days a week in our Austin office
  • Minimal travel required; ~1x / quarter
