Neogen is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in the Philippines. This pivotal role will partner closely with the Country Business Leader to drive a high-performing and engaged culture within a newly created legal entity. You will lead the people agenda, ensuring seamless operations across the full employee life-cycle while aligning talent strategies to business goals.

This is an on-site position based in the Philippines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic HR partner to the Country Business Leader and point of contact for employees across the organisation

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal governance of people policies and procedures

  • Lead the transition from an outsourced PEO model to in-house employment, including payroll, benefits, HRIS (Workday), and administrative operations

  • Drive initiatives to attract, develop, engage, and retain top talent, aligned with Neogen’s growth strategy

  • Oversee core HR programs including Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Performance Management, Learning & Development, and Total Rewards

  • Champion a positive employee experience and high engagement across the workforce

  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and operational excellence

  • Collaborate with regional and global HR partners to ensure consistency and alignment in people practices

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Psychology or related discipline

  • 7–12 years of experience across the full HR spectrum within multinational companies

  • Demonstrated experience in setting up and streamlining HR operations from scratch is highly valued

  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills across all levels of the organisation

  • Highly organised, proactive, and analytical with strong problem-solving skills

  • Experience in healthcare or biosciences industry preferred but not essential
