Compensation Analyst | Lithia & Driveway

Lithia & Driveway (LAD) is one of the largest automotive retailers in the nation, and we're growing. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a Compensation Analyst who is passionate about driving performance through smart, strategic pay solutions.

In this role, you’ll play a critical part in supporting our compensation programs across our nationwide network of dealerships. You'll partner closely with store leadership and executive teams to design and evaluate compensation plans that attract and retain top talent, reward high performance, and align with business objectives.

Location: Medford, OR (hybrid)

Compensation: $60,000-$65,000

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with store management and executive leadership to design compensation plans that:

    • Support company and dealership goals

    • Motivate employees to exceed performance expectations

    • Attract, retain, and reward high-performing talent

    • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws

  • Conduct thorough analysis of:

    • Pay plan effectiveness using historical and recent performance data

    • Staffing levels and productivity to manage payroll expenses

    • Annual Operating Plans (AOP) and performance metrics to identify compensation opportunities

  • Present data-driven recommendations clearly to leaders at all levels

  • Contribute to compensation department projects, reporting, and analytics

What You Bring

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities

  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

  • High attention to detail and a customer service mindset

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Prior experience in compensation or HR analytics a plus
