We are seeking a motivated and skilled Back-End Developer with hands-on experience in NestJS to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in building scalable, secure, and maintainable back-end services using modern JavaScript frameworks. Candidates with full-stack development experience (NestJS + Next.js) will be given added consideration. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and a strong focus on performance, maintainability, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and configure back-end applications using NestJS to meet business process and application requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (front-end developers, product owners, QA, DevOps) to gather and analyze business and technical requirements.
Participate actively in design discussions, sprint ceremonies, code reviews, and architectural planning.
Implement best practices in back-end development including API design, security, error handling, logging, and performance tuning.
Ensure robust and efficient data exchange using JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) for API communication.
Contribute to Configuration & Release Management, Build Management, and Design & Build Enablement practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Write clean, testable, and maintainable code and conduct unit and integration testing to ensure functionality and reliability.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve production issues and technical bottlenecks.
Stay updated with the latest developments in the backend and full-stack ecosystem to incorporate relevant advancements into the development process.
Mentor and support junior developers to cultivate a strong, collaborative team environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Intermediate proficiency in NestJS and back-end development principles (routing, controllers, services, modules, DI, etc.).
Solid understanding of Node.js fundamentals and the Express/Fastify ecosystem.
Experience working with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and ORM tools like TypeORM or Prisma.
Familiarity with API design standards (REST, GraphQL preferred).
Proficiency in using JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) for data interchange between services.
Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, and agile software development methodologies.
Strong grasp of Configuration & Release Management, Build Management, and DevOps pipelines.
Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker) and deployment on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Full-Stack development experience using Next.js on the front end is a significant plus.
Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven systems is an advantage.
Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Supertest).
Exposure to security standards (OAuth2, JWT, etc.) in backend services.
