Daily Work Hours: 8:00AM – 5:00PM
Work Location: Swan Street Core 3, Albany, NY 12201
Telecommuting: Yes – 50% allowed
Project/Program Name: Legally Exempt Facility Application and Management System
Travel Anticipated: No
Anticipated Frequency and Locations for Travel: N/A
Additional Training Required: Yes – ITS mandatory training
Knowledge Transfer Method: Project documentation, weekly reviews, and written knowledge transfer when necessary
Position Description: .Net System Programmer for Legally Exempt Facility Application and Management System.
Daily Tasks:
Work in coordination with a team of developers to write the new Facility Application Management system in ASP.net MVC.
Work with Business Analysts on analysis and logical design.
Perform unit testing and correct all identified bugs.
Perform complex VB.Net coding.
Assist with responding to Day Care data requests.
Work under the direction of a Technical Lead, Project Manager, and Software Architect.
Write complex stored procedures and triggers in an Oracle database using PL/SQL.

Requested Qualifications:
7 years experience developing N-Tier .net web applications
7 years experience with PL/SQL writing packages, stored procedures, and triggers
7 years experience utilizing Model View Controller (MVC)
3 years experience utilizing C#
3 years experience utilizing SQL Server databases

Bachelor’s Degree required at a minimum
