The Valenz mindset and culture of innovation combine to create a distinctly different approach to an inefficient, uninspired health system. With fully integrated solutions, Valenz engages early and often to execute across the entire patient journey – from care navigation and management to payment integrity, plan performance and provider verification. With a 99% client retention rate, we elevate expectations to a new level of efficiency, effectiveness and transparency where smarter, better, faster healthcare is possible.

About This Opportunity:
As a Senior FP&A Analyst (aka Senior Financial Analyst), you will drive forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning to support strategic growth and operational excellence. In this role, you’ll provide financial insights that inform key business decisions, improve forecast accuracy, and strengthen organizational performance. You’ll work closely with business leaders across departments to deliver impactful analysis, executive reporting, and financial modeling, while continuously enhancing planning processes and reporting tools for greater efficiency and scalability.

Things You’ll Do Here:
  • Lead components of the monthly forecast, annual budget, and long-range planning processes.
  • Analyze financial performance and trends, including variance to forecast, budget, and prior year.
  • Partner with business unit leaders to develop forecasts and identify performance drivers.
  • Create and maintain complex financial models to support planning and decision-making.
  • Assist with preparation of executive reporting, board materials, and investor presentations.
  • Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives, including pricing, profitability, and investment analysis.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis and financial modeling in support of strategic initiatives and executive leadership requests.
  • Enhance financial processes and reporting tools to drive scalability and efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Four (4) or more years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or business analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial systems (e.g., Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, Power BI).
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, variance analysis, and key performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to influence across functions.
  • Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented with a proactive mindset.
A plus if you have:
  • Experience in a private equity-backed company.

Where You’ll Work: This is a hybrid role based near our Radnor, PA office. While the position is primarily remote, you must be able to commute to the office a few days each month for key meetings or team collaboration. And, we’ll provide all the necessary equipment!
  • Work Environment: You’ll need a quiet workspace that is free from distractions.
  • Technology: Reliable internet connection—if you can use streaming services, you’re good to go!
  • Security: Adherence to company security protocols, including the use of VPNs, secure passwords, and company-approved devices/software.
  • Location: You must be US based, in a location where you can work effectively and comply with company policies such as HIPAA.
