We’re looking for a driven and relationship-focused Account Manager to join our team and lead our wood component sales efforts in the Salt Lake City, UT region. What You’ll Do
As an Account Manager, you’ll be the face of UFP Site Built to our customers—delivering solutions, building trust, and driving results. Your responsibilities will include:
 

  • Nurture and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions that add value and reduce costs.
  • Drive new business by promoting our innovative product lines to new and existing clients.
  • Analyze and present cost-saving opportunities to customers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues with professionalism and urgency.
  • Monitor market trends and stay ahead of the competition in your region.
  • Manage accounts receivable and participate in month-end inventory processes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

 
What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in building materials sales, specifically roof/ floor trusses, floor cassettes, wall panels, engineered wood products.
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry and customer needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ERP or CRM experience is a plus.
  • Manufacturing background and knowledge of UFP’s products and culture are a bonus.
