Job description

Location: Remote in Alberta / Ontario / British Columbia 
Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)


Position Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to support the CFO in managing the company’s financial operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing healthcare services company and contribute to its continued success. The Finance Manager will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, and vendor management, with a strong focus on operational efficiency and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and management reports in accordance with ASPE.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Manage the general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Monitor cash flow and support treasury functions.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and oversee procurement processes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
  • Support year-end audit and tax filings.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.
  • Maintain key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards to support financial and operational decision-making.
  • Support operational leaders with monthly financial reporting and insights to drive performance and accountability.
Qualifications:
  • CPA designation or in final stages of completion.
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
  • Strong understanding of ASPE and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Legally able to work in Canada
