What you will do 

WeightWatchers is seeking a seasoned, entrepreneurial marketing executive to lead and scale our international marketing function across more than 8 global markets. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this leader will be directly accountable for the strategy, execution, and performance of marketing efforts across each international market, with a focus on driving customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and long-term profitability.

You will oversee a matrixed cross-functional team and collaborate closely with performance media, lifecycle, product, creative, and partnership teams to deliver integrated growth strategies that are locally relevant and operationally scalable. This role requires a strong command of international marketing dynamics, with demonstrated ability to manage complexity across languages, cultures, and operational structures.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of driving meaningful  business impacts across international markets, using data to drive strategy and implementing operational processes to support efficient international execution.  Responsibilities include:
 

  • Develop the international marketing growth strategy, analyze market insights, trends and performance to develop strategic plan with key milestones, dates and KPI’s to unlock growth in key markets.   

  • Launch, execute and innovation against strategy based on learnings, from brand health, relevance, consideration through acquisition, onboarding, retention and customer satisfaction, establish an iterative and ritual driven approach to surfacing learning and driving material step function improvements across multiple markets.

  • Establish and scale operational processes that support efficient, localized marketing execution—including translation management, campaign coordination, and resource allocation.

  • Develop market-specific growth plans, grounded in research and market insights, to accelerate acquisition, improve retention, and optimize customer lifetime value.

  • Drive full-funnel marketing initiatives, working cross-functionally to coordinate media, CRM/lifecycle, product, and creative efforts that impact the entire customer journey.

  • Collaborate with B2B and regional partners to identify and implement go-to-market strategies, partnerships, and enhancements that deliver additional member value.

  • Increase brand relevance and consideration, working with PR and brand teams to adapt messaging and content for local audiences and competitive environments.

  • Partner with operational teams supporting virtual and in-person workshops an develop strategies that enhance member experience and satisfaction in each market.

  • Partner with finance and leadership to build forward-looking forecasts, inform budget allocation, and quantify the impact of strategic initiatives.

Who you are 

  • 15+ years of marketing leadership experience, with a strong track record of driving global growth and measurable P&L impact.

  • Proven success building and scaling marketing operations internationally, including managing centralized teams, with localized resources, to navigate market-specific regulatory, cultural, and consumer differences.

  • Expertise in localizing marketing strategy and operations, with a nuanced understanding of cultural, regulatory, and customer dynamics across global regions.

  • Deep experience leading growth and go-to-market strategies for global subscription-based or digital consumer businesses, ideally with past experience in health, wellness or tech.

  • Demonstrated expertise in full-stack marketing, including brand, performance marketing, CRM, and lifecycle strategies.

  • Strong background in data analysis and marketing analytics, with fluency in tools like Looker, and knowledge of attribution modeling (MTA, MMM).  Ability to work with analytics teams to develop key dashboards and insights to guide performance and communicate progress.

  • Experience operationalizing localization efforts, including translation processes, content governance, and regional compliance.

  • Adept at leading cross-functional teams, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution in matrixed environments.

  • Excellent communicator and storyteller, able to clearly articulate strategy, influence stakeholders, and inspire teams across global time zones.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with matrixed resources and high ambition.
