Overview of The Role
Reporting to the Director, Corporate Development, the candidate will participate in the review and execution of M&A transactions and other strategic projects.
Salary range: $66,960 – $87,890*Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter:
Compile and prepare industry, company profile and sector reports;
Help screen and analyze investment opportunities;
Perform financial analysis and valuation analysis;
Participate in the preparation of detailed financial modeling;
Participate in the due diligence on opportunities covering financial, commercial, industry and regulatory considerations, as well as coordinating with internal experts on other operational considerations;
Help to coordinate various transaction work streams;
Help to prepare recommendations for approval;
Assist Saputo’s divisions in their strategic review and identify possible acquisition opportunities;
Assist other internal departments with various analyses.
You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have the Following Qualifications:
1 to 3 years of experience in relevant finance and accounting roles
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or in a relevant field
CPA, CBV and/or CFA titles are an asset
Strong financial analytical skills and the ability to interpret and resolve problems;
High degree of accuracy, strong organizational skills, self-motivation and ability to take initiative;
Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure;
Excellent communication skills and ability to establish good interpersonal relations;
Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint;
Perfectly bilingual in French and English (essential)
Exceptional academic track record
Flexibility, adaptability and initiative;
As part of their duties, the incumbent will have to communicate and collaborate in English, both orally and in writing with colleagues or other stakeholders in Quebec as well as in the rest of Canada or in North America.
