Responsibilities

• Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system.

• Develop or direct software system testing or validation procedures, programming, or documentation.

• Design and implement complex requirements to accomplish business goals and strategies by handling platform development initiatives from idea creation through deployment.

• Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.

• Ensure solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset.

• Participate in identifying customer needs, design solutioning, and estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.

• Design and implement data frameworks, algorithms, and controls in the financial risk management systems.

• Design and implement database solutions using Unix Shell Scripting, Oracle PL and SQL for data transfer and migration.

• Design, implement, and maintain ETL process for integrating data from multiple systems while ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and quality leveraging ETL tools including TALEND and DataStage.

• Generate data analytics and reports to support business decisions using various tools and data sources including UNIX, PL, and SQL.

• Use data modelling techniques and normalization techniques to design data models using RDBMS tools including Power designer, Visio, and Erwin.

• Assess and maintain data quality using Oracle PL and SQL, data warehousing and modelling concepts, ETL, and BI reporting.

• Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related: and

• 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.

• Must have 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation. Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:

• Designing and implementing data frameworks, algorithms, and controls in the financial risk management systems;

• Designing and implementing database solutions using Unix Shell Scripting, Oracle PL and SQL for data transfer and migration;
