As the Senior Manager – Platform Application Development & AMS, you will lead the strategic design, development, and management of enterprise-level applications and platforms. Your primary responsibility is to oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring that applications are architected for scalability, performance, and security. This role demands a deep technical expertise in modern application development frameworks, cloud-native architectures, and DevOps practices.

You will manage cross-functional teams of developers, engineers, and support specialists, driving the delivery of high-quality software solutions that align with business objectives. Additionally, you will oversee Application Management Services (AMS), ensuring the reliability, availability, and continuous improvement of existing applications through proactive monitoring, incident management, and performance optimization.

Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement, positioning the organization at the forefront of technological advancement with key deliverables;

  • Oversee the end-to-end development of platform applications, ensuring adherence to best practices in software engineering, architecture, and design.
  • Lead the AMS function, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and scalability of existing applications through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
  • Manage and mentor a team of developers and support engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and QA testers, to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.
  • Ensure all applications comply with relevant security standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
