About the role

We’re looking to for a Professional Services Platform Manager to join the JustGiving team in an exciting role to lead our Digital Services platform. Your expertise will be crucial in optimising platform functionality, driving innovation, and delivering high-impact client solutions.

You’ll lead and inspire a team of Digital Services engineers, overseeing Agile ceremonies, backlog management, and release processes while fostering a collaborative and high performing environment. From managing incident resolution, to overseeing platform security and driving continuous improvements, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Digital Services offerings.

What you’ll be doing

  • Define a compelling vision, strategic direction, success metrics, and a long-term roadmap for the Digital Services platform.
  • Engage with charity partners and third parties in both face-to-face and online meetings, effectively demonstrating platform enhancements and their commercial value.
  • Manage the collaboration with the JustGiving Product team to enhance the Digital Services and Core product platform through commercially focused features and optimisations.
  • Guide the discovery and delivery of new features, track impact, and maintain transparent communication with internal stakeholders, charity partners, and third parties.
  • Oversee the scoping of new solutions and projects effectively.
  • Evaluate the impact and utilisation of new integrations, driving continuous enhancements.
  • Manage and guide a talented group of Digital Services engineers. Oversee Agile ceremonies, backlog management, release processes, and incident resolution to ensure efficient operations and continuous improvement.

What we need from you

  • Hands-on experience in technical people leadership role
  • A high-level understanding of JavaScript, React, SQL, HTML, and CSS.
  • Proven ability to design and execute complex roadmaps, lead strategic discussions, and drive commercial success through well-defined development initiatives.
  • Adept at addressing large-scale commercial challenges, making informed decisions that balance budget limitations, available resources, and competing priorities.
  • Skilled at translating complex technical solutions for non-technical audiences while serving as a trusted point of escalation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven expertise in leading a functional area to successfully achieve business objectives.
  • Skilled in budgeting, strategic decision-making, team management, and optimising operational processes.
