Compensation:        $52,000.00 - $65,000.00 (Range applies to US candidates only) + Benefits/Variable Comp/Equity - Range may vary based on experience.

Summary

OneStream Software is seeking a Financial Analyst I to join our accounting team. The Financial Analyst I is responsible for administering and applying the accounting principles and procedures throughout the organization’s cycles, such as monthly and quarterly software revenue accounting. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Creating and maintaining reconciliations.
• Supporting the quarterly and yearly audits.
• Provide project financial support and analytics.
• Delivering accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
• Assist in amortization schedules related to commissions expense.
• Ensure accurate and timely resolution of employee commission issues through thorough investigation and effective communication.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for addressing and resolving commission-related concerns.
• Maintaining confidential employee records, including sales employee onboarding and offboarding related to commissions.
• Assist in projects and implementation as needed.
• Drive improvements to the commission software while partnering with team members to ensure successful implementation and adoption.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
• 0-2 years of experience in related field.
• GAAP accounting, key metrics (ARR, NRR, GRR, etc.) and key systems (i.e. Intacct, Salesforce, and OneStream) experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret financial information
• Knowledge of basic financial terms, concepts and accounting principles
• Detail-oriented with the ability to define problems, collect data and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to accurately explain/report activity in verbal and written communications.
• Utilize Insights to develop and maintain standard financial reports
