About the role

Japanese Freelance Dubbing AI Operator Needed – Work on the Deepdub Platform

We're currently expanding our professional talent pool as we grow and take on new clients, and we're looking for Freelance Japanese Dubbing AI Operators (Script Adaptation / Voice Generation) to join us.

If selected, you will work on adapting dubbing scripts for movies, TV shows, documentaries, and animated series into Japanese.

Payment: Your monthly earnings will depend on the number of titles you complete and can reach up to $4,000 per month.

**This is a freelance, fully remote position.


Responsibilities

  • Adapt a manuscript of a visual video and use Text-To-Speech technology to create new audio and dub the same video to our target language
  • Review and correct automated translations as necessary, and adapt translations for localization.
  • Evaluate the quality of voice and overall video quality.
  • Manage and resolve client rejections.



Requirements

  • Native in the target language.
  • Previous experience in dubbing and post-production workflows is a strong plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in (director/adaptor/actor), dubbing, acting, transcription, translation, subtitling, proofreading, captioning, or media localization.
  • Flexible availability.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Audio / Video editing is a benefit.
